Online Appointment Booking 

Northumberland Family Health Team and our associated medical clinics are gradually introducing Online Appointment Booking. This is  possible through our partnership with the Ontario Health Team of Northumberland and funding from Ontario Health to use the OCEAN system.

Telephone Appointment Booking

To book an appointment via telephone for any of the health care providers at the Northumberland Mall NFHT site, please call 289-252-2139. Click here to see a list of our staff. Our reception cannot book appointments for the doctors and nurses at the other sites. To find out which location your doctor or nurse is in, and the telephone number for that site, please click here.

COBOURG HEALTH CENTER PATIENTS
You must be a patient of the Cobourg Health Center to book. Click here to see if your doctor is at CHC.

The Cobourg Health Center After Hours Clinic is for urgent same-day appointments only and is offered on Mondays – click here to book.

CMC RN Nurse: online appointments are available for Blood Pressure Check, Ear Flush, Vaccine/Injection and Staple/Suture removal.

Due to the NFHT Flood and temporary office closure, we have suspended online booking. All of our staff are still working and we are still booking virtual/phone appointments. Call 289-252-2139 to book an appointment. This suspension does not affect online booking of services offered in our affiliated clinics. It only affects services that were offered in the lower level of the Northumberland Mall.  We apologize for the inconvenience and are working towards restoring in-person services. 

VACCINATION CLINIC INFORMATION

There is currently no further online booking for covid/flu shots. We will post here when online booking reopens in the fall of 2026 for covid/flu shots.

Online booking allows you to easily and conveniently book an appointment with your healthcare provider, receive optional reminders about upcoming appointments and helps our healthcare providers and administrative staff to better serve you by reducing call volumes and by collecting helpful information prior to your visit.

Online appointment booking is a simplified and streamlined process, with no registration, login, or passwords required. Our online booking portal is mobile-friendly, and you can cancel or re-book using a simple email link.

Our online appointment booking is made possible through Ocean by CognisantMD, an online platform designed to help make healthcare better and easier for patients. Ocean Online Booking meets the requirements of Ontario Health’s online booking standards, which ensures safe, secure digital healthcare solutions that protect patient privacy.

While you do not require an email address in order to book an appointment online, it is strongly recommended that you provide one when booking, so that you can easily cancel or reschedule your appointment, and receive reminders about your upcoming appointment.
