Healthy Lung Program
Assessment, treatment, monitoring and support for people with respiratory impairment.
This program is for:
- People with a current or suspected diagnosis or at risk for Asthma, COPD or Restricted Lung Disease
Program Activities and Services:
- Comprehensive respiratory assessment and/or facilitation of external testing as required
- Health promotion and prevention related to lung health including referral to smoking cessation support and vaccinations as needed
- Development of Action Plans to support self-management of disease and acute exacerbations
- Individual and group monitoring and health teaching
Goals for Participants:
- Improved respiratory health and overall quality of life
- Improved confidence and ability to manage respiratory illness and symptoms

- Physiotherapist/Certified Respiratory Educator
- Registered Nurse
