If you are calling for a non-urgent appointment or for a reason other than appointment booking (such as medication renew, cancellation/rescheduling, test results, general inquiries), please call after 1:00 pm. You will have a much easier time getting through on the phones and will make it easier for those with urgent appointment needs to get through.

MASKS HELP PROTECT YOU AND ME

If you have an in-person appointment with a health care provider at any of the NFHT offices, please wear your own mask (homemade or otherwise). Please ensure the mask covers both your nose and mouth. These infection control protocols are to protect our patients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tick Talk – Ticks are now back. The confirmed number of ticks infected with Lyme disease has increased in Northumberland. If you find a tick attached to you, or a pet, remove it immediately. The risk of contracting Lyme disease increases after a tick has been attached  for 24 hours or is engorged. Speak to your healthcare provider if you need help removing a tick or if you subsequently have a bullseye rash or experience flu like symptoms. There is a treatment for Lyme disease.
